Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for contract management (ship- and crew management agreements, service-level agreements)
- In charge of handling insurances and claims management (e.g. link between insurance department and customer)
- Responsible for commercial project coordination
- Support the development and implementation of system and process enhancements aiming to monitor and manage data relating to clients and BSM Cruise more effectively
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to the management
Involvement with Clients:
- Support in the evaluation of potential new business (incl SWOT, and pricing)
- Monitoring of customer’s profitability
Reports to:
- Management, especially the Director of Finance
Education and Qualifications:
- Commercial qualification, e.g. apprenticeship in the shipping industry and/or Bachelors degree, ideally with a shipping background
Work Experience:
- Practical commercial experience (ideally 2 yrs+)- Experience in agile working with internal and external customers
Job-Specific Skills:
- Analytical skills, endurance, a good eye for the details, naturally curious and interested in optimizing processes
- PC literate with effective knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fluency in English with good written and verbal communication skills
- Administrative, time & project management skills with the ability to deliver on time and quality
- Flexible, self-motivated, and self-directed while equally able to work effectively as a team member
- Willingness to travel (globally)
